Arctic a inregistrat vanzari crescande pe piata din Romania in primul semestru al 2008

Compania Arctic, liderul pietei romanesti de electrocasnice, a realizat in primul semestru al anului 2008 un volum al vanzarilor de peste 667.000 unitati, 312.000 dintre acestea fiind comercializate in Romania. Valoarea vanzarilor de pe piata locala a fost de 46,4 milioane de euro, in crestere usoara fata de cifra obtinuta anul trecut in aceeasi perioada - 45,5 milioane de euro.

Din numarul total de unitati vandute in primul semestru, peste 500.000 reprezinta aparate frigorifice. Acest segment de produse a adus companiei Arctic venituri in valoare de 75,2 milioane de euro.

In ceea ce priveste exporturile, volumul vanzarilor a scazut cu 13% comparativ cu primul semestru din 2007, la 355.500 de unitati.

"In prima jumatate a anului 2008 vanzarile locale au crescut usor pe fondul unei piete cu o crestere ponderata, sub nivelul inregistrat anul trecut. Rezultatele obtinute pe pietele externe reflecta situatia economica existenta in aceasta perioada la nivel international.

Peste jumatate din aparatele frigorifice produse la Gaesti merg la export, iar criza economica manifestata la nivel mondial a influentat negativ majoritatea statelor in care noi exportam produse. In prezent analizam solutii pentru mentinerea vanzarilor la export, una dintre acestea fiind extinderea pe noi piete la nivel international", a declarat Ugur Kayali, Director General Arctic.

In anul 2007 compania Arctic a inregistrat o cifra de afaceri de 224,3 de milioane de euro, cu un volum total al vanzarilor de peste 1.500.000 de unitati. Arctic are in prezent 2.300 angajati.

Arctic face parte din grupul Arçelik, al treilea producator european de aparatura electrocasnica. La peste 50 de ani de la infiintare, produsele companiei Arçelik sunt prezente in peste 100 de tari din intreaga lume. Compania detine 12 unitati de productie in 4 tari si are peste 18.000 angajati. Portofoliul Arçelik include 10 branduri.

Arçelik a inregistrat in 2007 o cifra de afaceri de 3,7 miliarde euro. Viziunea companiei Arcelik este de a detine pana in anul 2010 unul dintre cele mai puternice 10 branduri din lume pe segmentul de electrocasnice, cu marca Beko.
